Itinerary

Kickstart your adventure with a drive from Delhi to Kalpa, located in the Sutlej River Valley. Kalpa is known for its apple orchards and offers breathtaking views of the Kinner Kailash range. It’s a long drive, but the changing landscapes—from bustling city roads to serene mountain paths—will keep you enthralled. Overnight stay in Kalpa.

After breakfast, head out to explore Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border. This charming village is surrounded by lush green meadows, traditional wooden homes, and the beautiful Baspa River. After soaking in the natural beauty and serenity of Chitkul, return to Kalpa for the night.

Depart Kalpa and head towards Nako, a peaceful village perched on the edge of a beautiful lake. Nako is known for its ancient monastery and serene atmosphere. Spend the day exploring the village, visiting the Nako Lake and Monastery, and taking in the stunning views of the Himalayas. Overnight stay in Nako.

Travel from Nako to Tabo, home to the ancient Tabo Monastery, often called the "Ajanta of the Himalayas." After exploring the beautiful murals and stupas of Tabo, continue your journey to Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley. Kaza is known for its unique landscape, a stark contrast of barren mountains and lush green valleys. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Spend the day discovering the wonders of Kaza. Visit the Key Monastery, a spectacular structure perched on a hill, offering panoramic views of the Spiti Valley. You’ll also explore Kibber Village, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. There are also options to visit nearby villages like Langza, known for its fossils. Overnight stay in Kaza.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kalpa. You’ll pass through the same beautiful valleys, once again witnessing the stark beauty of the Spiti region. Take this opportunity to capture more memories before your return. Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Conclude your tour with a scenic drive back to Delhi, bringing home unforgettable memories of the stunning Spiti Valley.
